just well i am trying this fix too, i get to the point of where i am trying to install the xp driver. Click Start, right-click Computer, and then select Properties from the drop-down menu. Logitech QuickCam video driver should install normally but the audio driver will say that “the device can not be started” even though the driver is installed as “Logitech Audio (Messenger).”8. Alex Hi, I have tried the steps that you've described and when i chose the location of the drivers it told me that the computer did not found the drivers although Vista doesn't pick up the drivers when pointing to the folder with the extracted files from qc848enu, no matter if you point it directly to the folder with the files.
