On recent versions of Ubuntu, the dongle is recognized for its full capability (as a Bluetooth hub) and enabled by default. I've another BT receiver plugged-in, but, if it's possible, I prefer use the Logitech receiver. Make sure you select correctly if you're using a 64-bit or non-64-bit OS.
