I did find in my downloads folder Menu.. The most promising looking was the Solaar package, which is available in source from GitHub or as prebuilt packages for openSuSE, Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu and others. Type "Y" then hit "Enter". G15daemon drivers still work for the keyboards they supported, but their development was mostly dropped in 2008, the source is still available for anyone to pick up and continue their development, After testing, he came up with a set of instructions (originally posted at another site) and I have rewritten them here in a [hopefully] more accurate process.
