I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal". So you have to configure the Jack audio server (for example by means of qjackctl, aka Jack Control) to use the Fast Track. If when you reboot you don't see the new Kernel listed in your grub entry, it's probably because you are using another linux distro besides the Debian as I had recommended
